Rosie's Appearance

I just woke up so these letters might be a little sloppy. Well enough about me right now, my mother is out in the garden hosing out our blow-up pool, my sister is reading her new Gilda Joyce book and she can't take her eyes off it until... well she can't take her eyes off it at all.  My father is on the computer probably doing terrifying work, my brother is in the pitch-black basment the ony light thing down there was the t.v.  Why?  Because he was watching a show called My Life As A Teenage Robot.

Yesterday, my Mom's friend's daughter came over.  She just turned 4.  Her name is Rosie and she's so cute. So, my Mom brought her home, then my Dad and all the rest of us came home from my babysitter's graduation party.  Then we all ate lunch (pizza and sandwiches).  Then we all went to the pool and, of course, Rosie went in the kiddie pool and the rest of us went in the big pool. And once in a while, I would go over and visit Rosie in the kiddie pool.  (Mommy was with her).  When we got home, Rosie's Dad came over and they had dinner with us.  After dinner, we all went down in the basement and played awesome games, like an awesome stair sliding game and Barbies.

Then it was dessert time.  Mmmmmm. We all had ice cream.  I had coffee favor.  Then Rosie had to leave and we all, of course, had to do those traditional good-bye hugs.  Right now, the weather is sunny and warm.  Time: 11:27.  Well, write to you later, my great citizens.  Bye!

Mattituck

Just a couple minutes ago i was reading my awesome new book called Gilda Joyce The Dead Drop by Jennifer Allison, the 4th and last book in the series.

Speaking of my dear mother, right now she is making yummy blueberry pancakes and bacon hmm, my dad is drinking some not yummy coffee to me and reading the newspapers.  My sister won't tell me what she's doing.  She wants it to be a surprise but it has cometing to do with writing on a red piece of paper.  My brother is drawing a professional picture of Avatar, but failed and is now watching t.v., and I am listening to an annoying show called something zim. I am writing this.

Now, on last entry I told you I was going to tell you more about Mattituck, so here I go.  Mattituck is out on Long Island, where my Dad spent summers when he was my age.  In Mattituck, we were right up the block from the bay so we went there every day.  We also went to a great place called Goldsmith's Inlet that when yo utake your buggie board and it takes you dow a stream which takes you into the ocean.  We ate lunch at a farm and there saw horses and goats.  We also went to see The Last Airbender. It was stupendous.  I would completely recommend everyone on the earth to see it! (and aliens, too)

Rescuing the dove...

...Named Snowdrop Howard Lovesing Moulin-Zuzulo. Today, when Tiah and I were walking back from having a great time at my friend Chloe's house, we saw a beautiful white bird walking around doing the gooseneck right in front of my dad's ford explorer which will soon be replaced by an also bright white BMW.
We were amazed by how the bird was acting. Then Tiah pointed out that the Snow White beauty had a blue tag around its angle.  While it was freaking out about seeing humans, Tiah went inside and notified my parents that there was a bird outside. Meanwhile, I was supervising it and realized that its wing was injured beacuse of its inibility to spread its wings all the way open. My mom brought out 2 small bowls one filled with water and the other with birdseed.

The bird was very scared about the bowls and us coming up close to her. Finally, we set them down in the dirt but, even then she wouldn't touch them. I was wondering what to do since the Aark is closed on Sundays. My mom brought out some rose gloves for me to pick up the bird and put her in the garage. It was hard because the bird was hiding in the smallest places possible.

Then, out she came and I saw my chance to pick her up.  I had gotten one side when she did this 'groovy' disco move and spun out of my reach right into the rose bushes!!  Oh no!!!  I felt like I wanted to cry and I could tell that Tiah felt the same way because she burst out in tears.  We didn't want the poor little bird to get injured even more than it already was. My mom said that she could handle it, so I gave her the rose gloves and she picked it up.

Then we put the fluffy little bird in the garage and set up a bed made out of a sideways recycling bin, a blanket, leaves, moss, and some fluffy spearmint leaves for extra comfort. But, the bird found a much more 'comfortable' place standing on a fallen down ladder and under a long piece of wood. We didn't know what to do about the bird being in our very own garage, so my mom called for Chloe's dad who is a veterinarian.  He said that the bird didn't look wild. We had to take it to the aark sooner or later, so I begged my mom to take us out of school at math time.  She said no, but we might have to take her on Tuesday and not tomorrow.

Double Sleepover & Memorial Day

Hi Guys! Yesterday, one of my favorite cousins, Avalon slept over last night. We made a Go Flyers sign and had popcorn and watched the movie Avatar. We meant to stay up all night, but that didn't work out. But, we get another chance to tonight because it is a double sleepover. Except another one of my cousins and two of my friends are coming over. Christina, Chloe and Evie. Also we're having a BBQ tonight and sadly, we need to do all the chores. But, anyway, I'm excited. I'm going to make this awesome popcorn that has sugar and chocolate in it. We're also going to watch a movie, and I sware to myself that I'm going to stay up all night and go crazy in the morning. I hope that I have a lot of fun. Wish me luck that the young ones fall asleep first and that the older ones as in me, Avalon, Christina, and Chloe stay up all night. Heeheeheeheeheeheeheeeheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Golden Story

Hi- good news! Just  last week I went to a tennis competitionwith Isabella called Team Tennis -- I was playing in it. Our team name was the Core Creek killers.  But there is also bad news, they said they would have pizza and soda but I guess they forgot to order it. Well I can't belive it, but I played against Newtown twice and won both times after I played against them I went and played against Middletown and tied. Then we shot for prizes da da da da  da da d da I won a hat from the U.S Open. After that, they announced the winners.  Right when they announced the Silver medal and it wasn't our team, I knew that we WON!  But when they called out our name, I ran over and accepted the medal.  Right there, it said GOLD MEDAL!

Weekend

Hey guys.... and gals. The weekend is a perfect time to blog because there is no school. This weekend I played soccer and learned lots of new moves. It was so much fun... despite the sweat. I went to Tyler Park today and I also organized an Animal Savers Club to save animals that kids think are not important. If you comment on this, you can join, if you agree that some kids are being mean to animals. If you do want to join, then you should read this oath to yourself and see if you still want to join. I think that it is very meaningful, and after you read this oath, I think you will too.

Animal Savers Club (A.S.C) Oath

Please raise your right hand. Repeat after me. I,_______, solemnly swear that if I see an animal being abused or tortured, I will save them no matter what the circumstances are. I will do whatever it takes to put them in the safety that they need. If needed, I will make them a home. If they are being tortured by some brainless folk, then I will tell them to stop and if that doesn’t work, the kids who are torturing the animals will get hurt. Animals are very important to our earth. I know that sometimes animals eat other animals, and in that case we will not choose sides. People who abuse animals are bad people. We can change that. We can change their minds; we just need to tell them how much animals matter to our earth. By joining this club, I promise to do all of the above and even if something is not listed in this oath, I promise to do anything that I can to make sure that animals are safe, sound and happy. The Animal Savers Club is working to save animals and make sure that species on the endangered list will be no more. Animals are important and the Animal Savers Club guarantees animal safety all over the world.
